Program Overview

The National Private Schools Teacher Certification Program warmly welcomes you to become a Fully Certified Private School Teacher.

This program is designed exclusively for teachers working in the independent/private (non-public) school environment, serving students in grades PK–12.

Program Cost

Certification is $100 per year.
Upon completion, you will be certified as a Professional Private School Teacher, with distinction in one or more subject specialty areas, if qualified.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify, you must have:

• A colleague sponsor OR
• An employer who can certify that they have personally known, supervised, and/or employed you for a sufficient period of time

This is required for nomination into the Professional Teacher Certification Program.

NPSAG provides:

NPSAG recognizes that each school and educator brings unique experience and value. Therefore, rigid requirements based on formal education or years of service are not imposed.
